A member of the Society can be any person whose research, professional and / or pedagogical activities are aimed at researching materials or are in any way consistent with the activities of the Society. The conditions to be met by the members and the rights of the members are determined in more detail by the Articles of Society.

Each new member is obliged to fill in the online Application/Evidence Form and submit a confirmation of payment of membership fee (by attaching a copy in the online form, or by sending a confirmation by e-mail (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). When Society receives the completed Admission form and confirmation on payment of the membership fee, new member become an Active Member of the Society.

Each member is obliged to submit any change of personal data (address, title, institution, etc.) by filling in the Application/Evidence Form, by the selection of the appropriate option in it.

Rights and obligations of members

By the decision of the Presidency of the Materials Research Society of Serbia, only members of the Society with paid membership fees for the current year are full members of the Society, and can state this in their biographies, reports and papers. The list of active members of the Society is proof of membership.

All members of the Society receive the following benefits:

• The right to reduced Registration fees for participation in the YUCOMAT conference, which is organized every year in the organization of the Society (15 % discount compared to the regular Registration fee)
• The right to reduced Registration fees for participation in conferences organized by the Federation of European Societies - FEMS, of which the Society is a member (15 % discount compared to the regular Registration fee)
• Information on all activities of the Company
• Possibility to compete for prizes for the best oral and poster presentations at conferences organized by the Society, which allows free registration at the next conference

The list of Active Members of the Society will be available in early 2024.
