The Society of Powder Technology is the co-sponsor of the YUCOMAT 2018 Conference.

The Society of Powder Technology is based in Japan. It was founded in 1957 as the Research Association of Powder Technology. In 1978, it changed its name to the Society of Powder Technology.

The Society publishes the Journal of the Society of Powder Technology and is the founder of Advanced Powder Technology, published by Elsevier.
