YUCOMAT – the line-up of speakers looks like Who is Who in materials science
One of the most cited scientists in the field of material science and Chair of International Advisory Board of YUCOMAT Yury Gogotsi will be one of the plenary speakers on YUCOMAT 2023. In an interview for MRS Serbia Newsletter he talks about the future of material science, the latest MXene developments and YUCOMAT: “Not many conferences, especially relatively small ones (100-200 participants), survive for 28 years, moreover, remain popular, grow and keep attracting the best speakers from all over the world. YUCOMAT did that and this by itself is a major success...”.

Deadline for Online Abstract Submission: May 31, 2023 | ||
|
YUCOMAT Conference on Material Science, 04-08 September 2023 Herceg Novi, Montenegro have more than 20 confirmed plenary lectures (30 min) by the leaders in the field, oral (15 min) and poster presentations. Abstract in English and the registration form, to be submitted online by May 31, 2023. Abstracts will be included in a Book of Abstracts, distributed to each participant at the conference registration and published on MRS-Serbia website.

In cooperation with Drexel university and EOARD, MRS Serbia supported participation of 40 Ukrainian scientists on 24th YUCOMAT Conference. With our partners we secured funds for registration fees and accommodation for those scientists who applied on our invitation that was open until May 1, 2023.

APPLY FOR AWARD GRANTS FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS | ||

We invite all young researchers to apply for one of the Awards that are traditionally presented on YUCOMAT Conferences to the authors of the best:
MRS-Singapore and MRS-Serbia will again this year support ten young researchers who will receive Award grants for young researchers on YUCOMAT 2023. The Award winners will be announced on the Closing ceremony on September 8, 2023 at Herceg Novi, Montenegro.
